Privacy Policy

Controller

Austrian Ice Hockey Association (ÖEHV), [TODO: address], email: [TODO: email]. Responsible for the processing of personal data on this website.

Legal bases

We process personal data on the basis of the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG). For the technical operation of this website we rely on our legitimate interest in providing it securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted at [TODO: hosting provider/location, EU]. When you visit it, technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested, user agent) is processed in server log files and deleted after 14 days at the latest. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies

This website only uses technically necessary cookies (Sec. 165 Austrian TKG 2021), for example for the Shopify cart. No tracking or marketing cookies are set; Shopify Customer Privacy configuration will be reviewed separately before the shop launches.

Fonts and media

Fonts and media are served locally from our own server. No data is transferred to third-party providers or third countries in the process.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address and the technical data required to document your subscription in order to send the newsletter and record your consent. We use a double opt-in process: your address is only enabled for delivery after you confirm it using the link in the confirmation email. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. For subscriptions and delivery, we use the newsletter system provided by EVENTIM Sports, which is technically based on CleverReach. When you submit the form, your information is transferred to this system. You may withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every newsletter. Delivery data is stored until you withdraw your consent; necessary suppression and evidence records may be retained beyond that point where required to meet legal obligations or defend against claims.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–22 GDPR). To exercise them, contact [TODO: email]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, +43 1 52 152-0, dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at.

Changes

This privacy policy will be updated whenever the functionality of the website changes (e.g. newsletter, analytics, embeds).
